Simply, a Podcast is a service which allow you (the listener) to catch all the shows and programmes we make in a simple and fast way. You don’t have to flip through long pages of text to find what you want to listen to, all you have to do is to subscribe to the podcast and you will get a full list of the shows right into your media player, just click and downloading will begin.

More than that, after you subscribe to the podcast, the list in your media player will automatically get updated whenever we add a new show in out site. So you wont have to check the site time after time to see if we added a new thing or not.

How do I subscribe to the Podcast?

The easiest way for subscribing to the podcast is by downloading and installing iTunes (If you are using a Mac or an iPod then you already have it), you can find it here:

Then all you have to do is to click on the iTunes icon on the top bar or click the following link:

iTunes will open and you will see a list containing all our programmes. Just double click on the programme you want to listen to and it will start downloading.

Whenever we add a new content to the site it will be added to your iTunes library as soon as you start it without having to check our site again.. unless you want to. You can disable the auto download of the files if you want to by changing the options in your iTunes.

Do I have to use iTunes?

No, you don’t have to. There are other software that allow you to subscribe to podcasts. For examble you can use a program called Juice:

We just recommend iTunes because it is very will known, it is easy to use and it is very powerful software to manage and listen to all kinds of audio files.

Can I use Windows Media Player, Real Player… etc.?

Until now, you can’t use these programmes to subscribe to podcasts, but you can download the shows (with iTunes or directly from the site) and listen to them later in your favourite software, at the end they are just a regular mp3 files, the podcast only regulate the way they are delivered to you.

Do I need an iPod to listen to the shows?

No. You can listen to them in your computer. They are just an mp3 files, so you can listen to them, edit them, burn them to CDs, send them to your fiends… Just don’t think about selling them or do anything illegal with them!!

Do I have to subscribe to the podcast?

No. You can just download what you want from the site and go away. Do it in any way you like .

كيف أستطيع الاشتراك بالبودكاست؟

أسهل طريقة للاشتراك بالبودكاست هي بتحميل و تركيب برنامج آي تيونز (iTunes) (إن كنت تستخدم جهاز ماكنتوش أو آي بود فالبرنامج موجود على جهازك و لا تحتاج لتحميله) ، يمكنك الحصول على البرنامج من هذا الموقع:

بعد ذلك كل ما عليك القيام به هو الضغط على زر الـ iTunes الموجود في أعلى هذه الصفحة أو الضغط على الرابط التالي:

بعد ذلك سيشتغل برنامج الآي تيونز و ستظهر لك قائمة تضم جميع تسجيلاتنا ، فقط قم بالضغط على التسجيل الذي تريد و سيتحمل على جهازك تلقائيا لتتمكن من الاستماع له.

كلما أضفنا تسجيلا جديدا للموقع ستتجد القائمة لديك و سيتحمل إليك آخر تسجيل أوتوماتيكيا ، بالطبع يمكنك إيقاف خاصية التحميل التلقائي من خلال تغيير خواص البرنامج على جهازك.

هل الآي تيونز iTunes هو خياري الوحيد؟

حتى هذه اللحظة، هذه البرامج ليس فيها خاصية الاشتراك بالبودكاست ، و لكن يمكنك تحميل التسجيلات (باستخدام الآي تيونز أو من الموقع مباشرة) و من ثم الاستماع لها عن طريق برنامجك المفضل ، فالتسجيلات بالنهاية عبارة عن ملفات أم بي ثري عادية ، و ما البودكاست الا طريقة لتنظيم توصيل هذه الملفات إليك.

هل أحتاج إلى آي بود iPod للاستماع للتسجيلات؟

لا ، يمكنك الاستماع لها من كمبيوترك لأنها ليست إلا ملفات أم بي ثري ، فيمكنك الاستماع لها عن طريق كمبيوترك أو تعديلها كما تشاء أو عمل سي دي منها أو تحميلها لهاتفك أو أرسالها إلى أصدقائك.. فقط لا تفكر في بيعها أو استخدامها أي استخدام غير قانوني!
